Donald C.S. Pilling "Donald"

Donald opened the office which now practices as Widdows Pilling & Co in January 1974 and is head of the conveyancing and probate departments, specialising in private client work, including residential and commercial conveyancing. He combines a high level of professionalism with friendly and caring service—an approach that has won him a loyal base of clients.

Robert Jeremy Parker (LLB) "Jeremy"

Born in Blackpool in 1958 (the year that Bolton Wanderers last won the FA Cup), Jeremy was educated at Arnold School in Blackpool and is a graduate of Hull University. He articled with Kuit Steinart Levy, Manchester, and has been a partner with Widdows Pilling & Co since 1990.

Jeremy has been a member of The Law Society's Family Panel (Advanced) since 1999 with independently accredited expertise in financial issues arising on divorce/separation. His civil litigation practice specialises in contract land disputes and employment law, while his commercial practice extends to assets sales, property leases, commercial property sales, and purchases.

Jeremy takes the view that all problems are soluble with thought and effort, no matter how complex they may first appear. Noted for having a sympathetic yet direct manner, he is highly regarded for the quality of the advice he gives and the efficient, no-nonsense style in which it is delivered.

Nick Pattichis (BSc.) "Nick"

Nick was educated at Shrewsbury School and is a graduate of Cardiff University. He considered going into banking before opting for a career in law. From qualification, he has specialised in personal injury claims, particularly brain and spinal injuries, and has handled a number of high-value accident claims. Nick is noted for his energy and drive in achieving just levels of compensation for his clients, going the extra mile to achieve justice for accident victims.

Claire J. Pilling (LLB) "Claire"

Claire graduated at Manchester Metropolitan University in 2005 and went on to complete her training contract with Widdows Pilling & Co in 2007. She specialises in wills, probate, powers of attorney and court of protection matters. Although currently the youngest member of our team, Claire has been with the firm for more than four years. She shares the core values for which the firm is known, and always delivers a professional service to our clients in an approachable and accessible manner.
